How would it feel to start writing your stories, recording your voice, and documenting your life?
The Creative Documentarian Group Course is a 6-week online “camp” focused on supporting you as you witness your life through your creative rituals one song, page, poem or story at a time. With guided, supported, community driven space — artists, creatives, and visionaries are invited to document their own lives in real time through embodied creative practice.
*A voice shouts from the back of the room… “But there’s a lot we’re witnessing in the world right now! Why should we spend time documenting and reliving it all?”
While this is a completely valid emotion to shout from the back of the room, or back of your mind, documenting our life experiences can actually help you de-stress and decompress from the horrors. When you choose to document your experiences and emotions through writing, singing, or storytelling, your stress levels go down, your immune system improves, and you start to gain clarity in your own decision making. You preserve evidence of how you survived, how you loved, and how you became you.
This is about remembering who you are in a world that is begging you to stay distracted and afraid (Rafiki voice interjects with a Lion King soundbite)… REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!!
And help others remember who you are by taking your place as the active author of your life, by building your creative legacy one audio log and story collection at a time.

When you write about your experiences, your brain strengthens its memory pathways. You’re more likely to remember your own life with clarity and emotion (Ullrich & Lutgendorf, 2002).
Documenting helps you turn isolated moments into a continuous narrative, what psychologists call “narrative identity” and that’s a cornerstone of mental health and resilience (McAdams, 2001; Adler et al., 2016).
When you document your emotions through writing or storytelling, your stress levels go down (Pennebaker & Beall, 1986), your immune system improves (Pennebaker, 1997), and you gain clarity in your decision-making (Morisano et al., 2010).
People who track and reflect on their personal journeys, through journaling, audio logs, or photos, develop stronger self-awareness, goal clarity, and problem-solving skills (Campbell et al., 1996; Locke & Latham, 2002).
