Just Write
Creative Voice Writing Club
A writing circle for reluctant writers and shy authors who need deadlines to get things done.
It’s 2026 and it’s time to start writing your Novella, Novel, or Memoir.
Yes, YOU.
In this circle, you’ll read an essay, write a chapter, and meet online once a month, to chat craft, accountability, and what’s keeping you from just writing.
This is for you if…
You’re ready to commit to writing a chapter a month
You’ve already started a book, or have ideas living in a Google Doc or Notes App
You want accountability to just write
You understand that reading and observing the work of others helps develop your skills
You want to finish a draft, not edit and talk a draft to death
This isn’t for you if…
You want to talk about writing, and learn about writing, and read about writing, and take a class on writing, but not actually write.
You’re not committed to writing a chapter a month
How It Works
📍 Monthly Online Meeting via Zoom – Last Thursday of Every Month
Essay discussion
Accountability Check-In
Review & Discuss pre-read chapter pages collectively or in pods
📄 Monthly Submission

🏁 The Goal
4 months to a year from now, you have chapters. Momentum.
The Feedback Culture
The act of using your voice through written word can be incredibly expansive and somewhat vulnerable. In this circle, we lead with curiosity vs. critique. In our first session we’ll chat guidelines on the workshopping environment we’ll be creating together.

Your Host
Hey, you — I’m Christina Bailey, Artist and Founder of The Creative Voice, where we empower adult artists to return to their voice, and creativity, so you can start doing more of what you love, making a bigger impact with your voice and artistry.
2025 was an expansive year for my own creativity. I made a “resolution” to get off my phone and start reading more fiction. Fiction that brought joy, perspective, and escape. Without rules or guidelines, I quickly fell back in love with reading, devoured a range of books, and by August, I was enrolled in a novel-writing class at my local community college. The Writer’s Workshop format of my class reminded me how important accountability can be when exploring a new medium.
When you have “pages due”, you start making time to carve out writing time, and when you hear others talk about your characters and story development, you realize how expansive and freeing world-building can be.
The best part? Expansion in one artistic medium always inspires the others. So, if you’re a musician, or a dancer, or a digital marketer, or a tech engineer, the act of writing will ultimately impact your other modes of creativity in unexpected ways. At the end of this course, you will have stepped into a new version of yourself as an artist.
I hope you’ll join us.
xoxo
